Coustic Boriginal has been my launchpad for new ideas and companies since the Internet really took off in 1994. It is an incubator, a consulting company and a starting ground for new initiatives.
Some of the companies that I have co-founded have occupied me (more than) full-time for a longer time-span:
- Reeleezee. Founded in 2001 with Wilko Stronks, Reeleezee's mission is to become a leading global supplier of cloud-based accounting software for small-to-medium sized companies. With new offices opening in Istanbul (Turkey) and Ahmedabad (India) and more than 80.000 users of our software in The Netherlands, Reeleezee is firmly on its way to realizing that original vision.
- Netcast. Founded 1994, also with Wilko, Netcast evolved from one of The Netherlands' first Internet service bureaus into a > 100 employee Internet full-service powerhouse. Majority shareholding by Wegener NV in 1996, merged with Lost Boys in 2000.
As for this website, I consider it to be a nice placeholder for some general information and contact information. If - at this point in my career - I needed a splashing website to develop new business and contacts, I sincerely feel I would have done something momentously wrong. But that's just my five cents of wisdom.
